BAM North Productions presents
A 5 day intensive for filmmakers, actors and crew to shift from "Director as God" model to utilizing the entire team to make a superior film. If you've admired the work of directors such as Mike Leigh, John Cassavetes, or Penelope Buitenhuis- here is a chance to practice and learn skills to open up the process on set. If you are an actor who is looking to break into speaking roles on the screen, this will help you work more from within to build layers and texture to your characters. TAKE TWO provides the opportunity to deepen what you got in the first take- if you have the skills, confidence and a framework to work in a collaborative fashion on set. Come immerse yourself in a supportive environment to make a bit of filmmaking magic for 5 days in Northern Ontario.
This intensive residential workshop is an opportunity to build one’s skills as an actor, director, crew member to collaborate on and off set with the goal of creating a superior, more layered and profound final product.
